What a delight it was to have a “long walk” with ex-cheerleader, Sam Thompson recently. Starting as trampolinist at a high level Sam was convinced by a friend to give Cheerleading a go. Now that was 13 years ago an what a journey he has been on. Competing all across the UK with the likes of Stars Elite and Coventry Dynamite to then venturing across the pond to compete on the worlds stage with Team England as well as a season with the California Allstars. There is not a challenge that this guy hasn’t turned down.

Having realised it was time to step back from performing Sam has now turned is focus within the industry to educating the future generation of Cheerleading and thoroughly enjoying the new experiences he is creating for himself throughout the industry.
